Uncle Si’s Pizza opened June of 2003 and is owned by Robert and Sonja Stevens. Robert and Sonja are both natives to Washington State and reside in the Snoqualmie Ridge development. They started Uncle Si’s Pizza to provide a fun and inviting meeting place for local residents and their families to eat, drink and be merry!
WHERE ARE WE?                        
We are located in the heart of the Snoqualmie Ridge Retail District.  We are across the street from Zoka's and next to Mike's Cascade Grill. 
 
WHO IS UNCLE SI?    
Josiah Merritt (Uncle Si) came to the Snoqualmie Valley in 1862. Since Merritt's cabin was built at the base of the most prominent mountain in the valley, the mountain became known as Uncle Si's mountain.
 
He was a rugged (!) individual who survived by selling bacon from the hogs he raised to Seattle markets. To get it there he had to haul it on a sled to the river, canoe downstream, strap the load to his back and climb down the 270-foot falls, hike for miles, canoe the rest of the way to Everett and then on down
the Puget Sound to Seattle.
 
As a fiddler, he was outstanding and much beloved by dancers and residents of the valley.
